365 Personal Development Tips: February Recap

All of us are in a constant state of change. Most of us are always striving to become better versions of ourselves. Change is hard and it takes some time. But if you make small changes on a regular basis, you’ll eventually notice that you are a totally different person.

For the month of February, we focused on tips to help you sleep and keep your body in a healthier state. Plus there is mental health and how to keep toxicity and negativity out of your life. Focus on those positive affirmations as well, and you will find your whole world opening up in a new and better light.

February 1 – Wake up earlier. This gives you time in the mornings so you aren’t rushed.

February 2 – Shut down and unplug an hour before you go to bed. This allows you to relax and prepare your mind and body for sleep.

February 3 – Get off social media. Instead meet people in person.

February 4 – Push yourself whenever you feel like quitting.

February 5 – Learn to say “no.” You will free up time and energy for yourself.

February 6 – Clear your workspace of clutter. Having papers and stuff lying around is stressful.

February 7 – Live below your means. Learn to spend less than you earn and put aside extra money in savings.

February 8 – Say positive affirmations often. These short statements will motivate you and encourage you to be your best.

February 9 – Learn something new every day.

February 10 – Cook your meals from scratch with healthy foods. To be the best you, eating foods that are whole and unprocessed is necessary.

February 11 – Slow down. Stop rushing through everything in your life.

February 12 – Leave the comparisons. Don’t compare yourself to others. It fosters negativity such as jealousy, shame, and low self-esteem.

February 13 – It’s okay to fail. Failure happens to everyone. Use it as a stepping stone and learning experience.

February 14 – Forgive others and yourself.

February 15 – Slow down when you eat. Practice mindfulness by being aware of each bite you take.

February 16 – Drink plenty of water. Hydrate your body and flush toxins.

February 17 – Keep fit. Walk for 30 minutes every day.

February 18 – Take a few minutes to yourself when stressed. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

February 19 – Read motivational books to enhance your awareness and stretch your ideas.

February 20 – Be a role model by being someone others want to emulate.

February 21 – Give up obligations, toxic relationships and television to make room for things you want in your life.

February 22 – Meditate daily.

February 23 – Create a life vision. This is a clear picture of what you want to achieve during your life.

February 24 – Learn a new language. Speaking two or more languages builds cognitive skills like multi-tasking, improved memory and better decision-making skills.

February 25 – Avoid toxic and negative people.

February 26 – Simplify your day.

February 27 – Eat a healthy breakfast. Throw out the processed foods, sugary cereals, donuts or anything unhealthy. Instead reach for fruits, eggs, vegetables, and meat.

February 28 – Take a bath to calm nerves when stressed.
